 Supervision
I offer supervision to a range of health and welfare professionals. The nature and format of this supervision varies, depending on the needs, experience, and preferences of the individual involved.

Supervision sessions are generally up to 50 minutes long, and that time can be spent in the discussion of one situation or of a variety of topics, depending on need.

Supervision is not therapy, although it can include the examination of how aspects of our personal life affect how we work with others. Supervision can include discussion of specific cases or of more general issues.

My supervision style draws on a variety of theoretical frameworks, at times including narrative therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, transactional analysis, gestalt therapy, reality therapy, existential therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, play therapy, hypnotherapy, humanistic psychology, psychodynamic and systemic theories, and positive psychology.

Supervision is offered at a fee less than that of therapy as a contribution to the general field of counselling and therapy.
